Thomson Geer recognised with ranking promotions in Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2026 guide

Thomson Geer has been recognised by international legal directory Legal 500 in its Asia-Pacific 2026 rankings with promotions across a number of practice areas and Partners individually honoured.

This year's rankings saw the Media team promoted to the top Tier 1 position. Thomson Geer's Media practice is the only Media team in Australia to be top ranked by Legal 500 and peer international legal directory Chambers and Partners.

Thomson Geer was also promoted for Corporate and M&A, Infrastructure projects and construction and Energy (transactions and regulatory).

Construction team Partner Franco Aversa was promoted to Leading Partner for Infrastructure projects and construction while Partners Bronwyn Lincoln and Justin Quill maintained their listings as Leading Partners for Dispute resolution: arbitration and Media and entertainment respectively.

Media team Senior Associate Joel Parsons and Associate Sophie Meixner were also ranked Leading associates.

The Legal 500 rankings follow the publication of rankings by international legal directory Chambers and Partners late last year, which also saw several Thomson Geer practice areas and Partners promoted.
