Acquisition and leveraged finance
We assist lenders, agents, trustees and borrowers in respect of funding that is to be utilised to acquire the tangible and intangible assets of businesses, including via the purchase of shares, units or other equity interests in various types of legal entity. Our work in this area includes structuring loan facilities and securities, undertaking due diligence in respect of the assets being acquired, negotiating documentation and ensuring all regulatory and other conditions are met prior to funding being provided.
Asset and debt recovery
We are a trusted advisor to banks, financial institutions, businesses, utilities, governments and agencies that need assistance with asset and debt recovery through our TG Legal + Technology division. The team aligns with the values of our clients to treat customers with respect and integrity through stressful situations. We provide specialised solutions that deliver positive outcomes and maintain a client's corporate reputation and image.
Property and construction finance
Our team has significant experience working with lenders, agents, trustees and borrowers to provide funding in respect of the property and construction industry, be it for acquisition, investment, development or construction purposes. Every development is different and the team will advise on appropriate funding structures, will undertake all requisite due diligence to ensure a proposed acquisition or project stacks up and will also manage the documentation and settlement process.
Project finance
We act for developers, sponsors, contractors and funders on various forms of non-recourse and limited recourse secured lending for energy and infrastructure projects. Our national projects team has deep commercial experience across all the key energy and infrastructure sectors.
Structured finance
We act for corporates and securitisation vehicles on their securitisations, receivables financings and other complex financings. Our team is experienced at tailoring financing solutions to the needs of our clients.
