Thomson Geer has advised mining and infrastructure services company Tasmea Limited on a fully underwritten institutional placement raising A$43 million.
Thomson Geer advised on all aspects of the capital raising, including reviewing the capital raising syndicate documents and investor materials.
The Thomson Geer team was led by Partner Scott Gibson who said: "We are pleased to advise Tasmea on this transaction. We worked with Tasmea to engage with investors and shareholders in a very short timeframe to complete a successful capital raising."
The placement was strongly supported by new and existing institutional investors. The capital raising expands the company's share register and improves its chances of being admitted to the ASX 300 Index. The funds raised will provide Tasmea with flexibility to progress acquisition opportunities and reinforces its financial position.
Scott was supported by Senior Associate Chris Seotis.
Thomson Geer also advised Tasmea on its successful IPO in April 2024. Tasmea's shares have tripled in value since the listing and its market capitalisation is now more than A$1 billion.
