Yin’s areas of practice are in litigation and dispute resolution, regulatory and administrative law and medical negligence. Yin acts for, and advises, corporate and individual clients on a wide range of general commercial disputes involving shareholders, partnerships, trusts, directors, lenders, property, leasing, wills and estates and professional negligence.  

Yin’s practice focuses on significant and complex litigation.  With over 30 years’ experience in acting for clients in litigious matters, Yin understands the risks, costs and disruptions which litigation brings.  Yin’s strong technical knowledge, coupled with her attention to detail and her interpersonal and communication skills, enable her to deliver incisive and effective solutions to clients and their disputes.  

With her special interest and knowledge of Court practices and procedures, Yin regularly advises interstate and overseas law firms on the conduct of proceedings in Western Australia.  

Yin has earned a reputation as one of the most meticulous instructing solicitors whose briefs are welcomed by junior and senior counsel alike.
