Paul is an experienced and well regarded expert in employment, industrial relations, discrimination and work health and safety law.

Paul acts for private, listed and public organisations across many sectors, including large Australian and global organisations.  He also regularly acts for individuals in relation to disputes concerning their employment.

Over a career spanning more than 30 years, he has:

  • assisted employers in their dealings with regulators including the Fair Work Ombudsman, Australian Human Rights Commission, and its State and Territory counterpart, and WHS regulators across most States;
  • appeared as a solicitor advocate including in VCAT, NCAT, the Fair Work Commission, the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia and the Federal Court of Australia;
  • advised State and federal governments in relation to public policy matters, particularly in the area of workplace safety;
  • advised on the employment and safety aspects of many complex mergers and acquisitions.
