Liam McIllhatton is a real estate lawyer experienced in real estate capital transactions, property development (with a particular focus on the community housing sector) and leasing (both landlord and tenant) across a range of asset classes, including commercial, industrial, retail, residential and agricultural assets.

Liam has acted for ASX-listed entities, sovereign wealth funds, property trusts, major landlords, high-net-worth-individuals, financial institutions and administrators.

Liam often works closely with Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions teams on the property component of deals and has a particular interest in corporate real estate.

In terms of leasing, Liam regularly advises market-leading property groups and A-REITs on agreements for lease and leases of retail, office and industrial premises. Liam always endeavours to finalise leasing transactions in a prompt and pragmatic manner, whilst ensuring that his clients' legal and other important interests are not compromised.
