Joanna advises and acts for major Australian companies and individuals in all areas of planning, development, environment, contaminated land, heritage, water, pollution, waste, and compulsory acquisition.

She has a wide range of litigation experience acting for both consent authorities and property developers across a range of development matters, dispossessed landowners in compulsory acquisition matters, and in judicial review and civil enforcement matters in the Land and Environment Court and Court of Appeal.

Joanna is recognised as an Accredited Specialist in Planning & Environment Law by the Law Society of New South Wales and was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards 2019.

Acting and advising developers, private clients and consent authorities in planning and development matters including in disputes, certification, development, regularising unlawful development, tree and fencing disputes.

Wind farms

Advising in relation to wind farms. Including the NSW and Commonwealth planning and environmental approvals for the development large wind farms in NSW.
