Jane Hall is a leading work health and safety lawyer.

With more than 27 years' experience in court rooms and time spent as an executive in a work health and safety regulator, she has cultivated a unique and nuanced approach to helping businesses and government anticipate and solve work health and safety problems.  

Jane works with clients on a range of health and safety matters including litigation and criminal prosecutions, safety systems and health and safety frameworks. As well as case work, Jane advises boards and leadership teams to identify and manage health and safety risks, meet their compliance and safety goals and protect their license to operate.

Jane has a reputation for her ability to navigate the highly complex nature of health and safety law and is independently recognised as an expert. She has managed more than 600 investigations and 300 prosecutions by safety regulators and obtained acquittals for both companies and managers.

In addition to her work as a lawyer, Jane has been an independent expert member on the Commonwealth Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission since late 2016.
