Co-acting for Okeland Communities on its $75 million acquisition of a 250 hectare parcel in Bullsbrook for its 2,500+ lot master planned residential and commercial development (known as the Kingsford Estate), including drafting of comprehensive heads of agreement, option deed and contract of sale, advice in respect of relevant environmental matters and ongoing estate development contract preparation and advice.

Mineral Resources Limited

Co-acting for Mineral Resources Limited on its successful application for development approval, and amendment to that approval, from the Regional Joint Development Assessment Panel for the development of a high quality transient workers accommodation resort in Onslow, with an estimated construction cost of up to $100 million.

Energy Resources

Advising Energy Resources (a division of Mineral Resources Limited) on regulatory requirements for the development of its gas opportunities.

The Salvation Army

Advising The Salvation Army (Western Australia) Property Trust on a scheme to vary a trust provision relating to the use of a property

Environmental approvals

Advising clients in relation to planning and environmental approvals across various sectors, including concrete batching plants and limestone and sand mining quarries (BJ Catalano), waste transfer and resource recovery and recycling centres and a piggery, which included subsequent advice in relation to Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (WA) site inspections, non-compliance with conditions, reporting requirements and environmental incidents, Department of Agriculture (Cth) biosecurity investigations and prosecution.

Subdivision and rezoning

Advising on numerous subdivision and rezoning proposals for development and subdivision projects throughout the Perth Metropolitan Region and regional Western Australia.
