Cameron Roberts has over 20 years’ experience in public liability, professional indemnity, product liability, contractors all risk, property, and industrial special risk insurance and self-insurance.
His clients include government departments, insurers, international and ASX listed public companies, private companies, and insurance brokers.
He also has experience in dust diseases, intentional torts arising out of child sex and physical abuse and bullying, commercial litigation, and building and construction litigation. He provides pre-contractual advice in relation to insurance policy wordings, contractual insurance and indemnity clauses, and acts in disputes arising out of the denial of indemnity.
Cameron is a long-time member of the Australian Insurance Law Association and has held and holds many leadership positions, including National President for a record five years until he handed over the role in 2023. He remains the Association's Immediate Past President on the National Board for the next two years and is a committee member of the Association's Victorian chapter. Cameron is also a member of a number of legal working groups including the Victorian County Court's Institutional Liability List and Common Law List working groups and the Convenor of Medical Panels Wrongs Act Working Group.
