Andrew Bretherton has more than 40 years’ experience as a banking and finance lawyer, and has acted for all major Australian banks, a number of foreign banks and other financial institutions. He has extensive experience with property construction finance and consumer credit law in particular.

In addition, Andrew has supervised more than 1000 mortgagee sales involving commercial, industrial, residential and tourism properties and been involved in all types of corporate insolvency administration.Andrew was Special Counsel at Kemp Strang for more than four years before the firm’s transition to Thomson Geer. He was previously a Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright and its predecessor firms for more than 30 years.
