For more than four years working with the OCG to realise the land portfolio in the Mary Valley managed and then divested by the State following the decision to abandon the Traveston Crossing Dam. The divestment program required a mixture of: · Project management for delivery of legal services. · Drafting, negotiating and entry into milestone driven development leases. · Managing option rights under development leases for conversion to freehold purchase rights. · Tenure and access advice (including landlocked blocks), water licence and ROP transfer processes, livestock relocation management and water infrastructure considerations. · Drafting pro-forma land sale and water right sale contracts for tranche sales for rural, residential, commercial, unique properties (e.g. former school camps) and standalone water rights. · High volume tranche sales and liaising with all stakeholders in the sales processes.
