Matthew Carmody is a specialist in real estate and commercial law. He advises on real estate acquisitions and disposals, mixed-use and residential development projects, commercial leasing matters and general corporate and commercial law.

He has acted for a variety of private clients as well as Federal Government and Territory Government clients on transactional matters. He has also acted for foreign Government clients as well as banks and financial institutions.

Matthew’s clients appreciate his pragmatic approach to providing legal advice that assists to drive matters to a successful completion efficiently and effectively. The early years of Matthew’s career were spent focused on commercial dispute resolution allowing him to quickly identify pathways for problem solving and positive outcomes in complex negotiations.

For more than 10 years Matthew has been practising in the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales on commercial and real estate matters.
