Welcome to Issue 20 of the SA Public Sector Newsletter.
A Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Reference Committee has published a report addressing the impact of changes to service delivery models on the administration and running of government programs. The report makes a number of recommendations, including that proposals for outsourcing Australian government services be assessed against a ‘public interest test’.
We also draw attention to a new national guide on powers of attorney, which provides guidance on the differences between laws across the Australian jurisdictions.
This issue also contains the usual round-up of recent Commonwealth and South Australian cases and legislation.
We hope you enjoy this edition of our public sector newsletter.View PDF
