Thomson Geer welcomes leading media law team

We are pleased to welcome expert media law duo Justin Quill and John-Paul Cashen who have joined Thomson Geer as Partners in our Melbourne office.  Accompanying Justin and John-Paul is a team of five lawyers and support staff.

Recognised for their expert abilities, the team has a band-one Asia-Pacific ranking from specialist legal research analyst Chambers and Partners.

In addition to having represented, media personalities Sam Newman, Mike Sheahan and Don Scott on the high profile defamation claim by Nicky Winmar, the team is currently representing more than 30 media outlets and journalists in the high profile George Pell contempt case.
