For the second year running, Thomson Geer is proud to have sponsored the “Say NO to Domestic Violence” Charity Race Day organised by Blacktown Workers Club, and held on 30 May at Hawkesbury Race Club. The Race Day is a key annual fundraising event for several charities providing assistance for women and children who are victims of domestic violence in New South Wales, and is supported by the New South Wales Police.
As part of our involvement, we had a horse race named in our honour – the “Thomson Geer Lawyers Maiden Plate”. The firm’s support of this event was initiated by Partner, Brett Boon, who represented our firm at the Race Day, together with his team.
In addition to the firm’s support, our staff also donated a bundle of hygiene products, to be distributed to women in need by womens’ organisation, Share the Dignity.
