Thomson Geer assists with $160 million acquisition of Storage King sites

Thomson Geer has advised Abacus Property Group (an ASX-listed company) on the acquisition of five Storage King self storage assets in Sydney for $160 million.

Thomson Geer handled all aspects of the deal for Abacus, including due diligence, contract negotiations and conveyancing.

Abacus has been growing its property portfolio recently by acquiring self storage assets around Australia. Thomson Geer’s five offices have been working collaboratively to help Abacus to deliver on its acquisition strategy and achieve its investment aims.

Abacus, a diversified property investment group, owns 101 Storage King facilities and 100 per cent of the Storage King brand and management business.
