We have worked with Australia’s oldest charity, The Benevolent Society, in the securing of leases for commercial space across 25 NSW properties.
The Benevolent Society is consolidating sites and expanding its operations, after being selected by the NSW Government as the new operator of its Specialist Disability Community Support teams. These services are being transferred to the non-government sector to support the roll out of the NDIS. The Community support teams are made up of more than 800 highly skilled and dedicated professionals who provide clinical services such as therapy, case management and behaviour supports to people with disabilities as they transition across to the NDIS.
The Benevolent Society’s CEO, Jo Toohey, said “we are acquiring and totally refurbishing new sites that will enable us to provide enhanced services to communities in need, as well as facilitate a mobile workforce strategy for our staff to operate in a more agile and effective manner”.
