Thomsons has acted for the Motor Accident Commission (MAC) on its purchase of a half interest in Brisbane landmark tower, 400 George Street, for $195.8 million.
MAC purchased its half interest in the property from international group, Grosvenor, to become tenant in common under a co-ownership relationship with German entity Trinkaus.
Partners, Sian Rees and Chris O’Shea acted on this transaction. They were assisted by Senior Associate Lisa Bielby, Associate Heath Gleig-Scott and Conveyancer Chris Genockey.
The 34-storey A-grade office tower has a five-star Green Star office rating and tenants include the Department of Public Works, the Department of Human Services, Coopers Grace Ward, Newcrest Mining and Microsoft.
