Arthur Athanasiou appointed Adjunct Professor at La Trobe University’s Law School

Thomson Geer Partner & Accredited Tax Law Specialist, Arthur Athanasiou, has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor at La Trobe University’s Law School.

As a past student at La Trobe, Arthur has graduated with degrees in Law (1996) and Economics (Accounting) (1986).  Arthur has also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Swinburne (1988) and a Master of Laws from Melbourne (2000), and has practised as a Chartered Accountant from 1985 to 1996.

“I will always be grateful for the education I received and the friendships I made when I studied at La Trobe all those years ago, which have endured to this day.  The invitation to return to La Trobe Law School to work with the University’s academic faculty and students was one that I was honoured and proud to accept”, Arthur said.

Thomson Geer’s Chief Executive Partner, Adrian Tembel said “this appointment recognises the esteem in which Arthur is held in his specialist area of tax law. We are thrilled that he will be able to share his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of lawyers emerging from La Trobe”.

The appointment commenced on 20 January 2019.
