Experience

The Polo Club, Circa

Advising on the purchase of what is still Queensland’s largest single asset in Brisbane’s Waterfront Place and Eagle Street Pier including the Polo Club, circa A$700 million and the ongoing management advice and leasing of these complex retail and commercial assets across both wet and dry freehold and leasehold tenures. This transaction required significant project management of the project team to ensure the successful delivery of legal services and the project outcomes.

Industrial land development parcels

Acting in the acquisition of two strategic industrial land development parcels for the new joint venture with GIC for a new circa A$2 billion unlisted trust.

Industrial facilities and health assets

Acting in the development, construction and pre-commitment leasing of industrial facilities and health assets.

Dexus

Acting for Dexus in the leasing of their commercial, retail and industrial assets including, without limitation, drafting and negotiating agreements for lease, leases, fit out and incentive arrangements for new facilities, expanded or extended facilities, and existing facilities. We also advise Dexus in relation to portfolio operation and management issues.
