Tony works with domestic and international public and private sector clients on a wide range of matters. His practice areas range from industry-specific and strategic advice work to complex projects and transactions including mergers and acquisitions, privatisations, start ups, floats, licence awards, joint ventures, commercial arrangements, restructures, regulatory projects, and dispute resolution.

Tony also has a speciality in the gaming and leisure industry dating back over 23 years. He has acted in almost all of the major projects and transactions in the Australian gaming & wagering sectors, as well as many offshore transactions, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. His expertise covers all sectors including; race wagering, sports betting, online/mobile gaming, lotteries, gaming machines, casinos, hotels, clubs, racing, and social gaming.
Tony has been ranked in the top band (Band 1) in Chambers Asia Pacific for Gaming and Gambling each year it has been published, as well as being recognised as a Leading Lawyer in Gaming & Gambling by Chambers Global again in 2016. He is acknowledged as a leading lawyer in The International Who’s Who of Sports & Entertainment Lawyers 2016, and as Sport Lawyer of the Year, Australia – Finance Monthly Global Awards 2016.

- Acted for the Tasmanian Government in the restructure and privatisation of TOTE Tasmania.
