Thomson Geer has made a strategic investment in Endeavour Consulting, a Canberra-based public affairs consultancy. With Thomson Geer on board as a strategic shareholder, the business is now known as “TG Endeavour, Public Affairs”.
The investment gives Thomson Geer’s clients closer access to a team with specialist knowledge and experience of government and the public sector at the highest levels; Mark Brandon-Baker, Paul Chamberlin and former Senator, the Hon Stephen Conroy combine to provide seamless tri-partisan insights.
The investment forms the basis of an exclusive alliance between the firms.
Thomson Geer Chief Executive Partner, Adrian Tembel, said “Our core competence and focus is and will continue to be the supply of legal services. But this investment and alliance neatly extends our service offering into areas of regulatory and policy activity which I anticipate our clients will appreciate and value”.
“We are excited about our alliance with Thomson Geer, and the benefit that could flow to our respective clients” said TG Endeavour Managing Director, Mark Brandon-Baker.
Meanwhile TG Endeavour Chairman the Hon Stephen Conroy believes strongly in the tie up. “I was an advocate for this deal. I like the fit between public affairs advice and legal”. He went on to say that, “Modern government and business is now so interconnected in Australia that it just makes sense for regulatory, policy and legal advice to be as integrated and seamless as possible”.
