Our Health & Aged Care team has been identified as one of Australia’s leading teams in this area, in the recently released Doyles Guide rankings of Australia’s leading Health & Aged Care lawyers, 2020.

Thomson Geer has been ranked as a first tier firm, one of only four firms nationally to receive this recognition.

Individually, four of our Partners and Health & Aged Care specialists have been ranked: Julie McStay and Lucinda Smith being listed as preeminent lawyers in this space, Arthur Koumoukelis as a leading lawyer, and Marc Wyld recommended.

Our Health & Aged Care team has continued to expand in this growth sector over the past few years, which has largely been driven by client demand.

This past 18 months in particular has seen specialists Arthur Koumoukelis and Amber Crosthwaite and their team join us in Sydney and Perth, and Julie McStay and Madeline Walsh and their team join us in Brisbane.  These new teams, together with Lucinda Smith and Marc Wyld in our Sydney office, give our firm truly national coverage.

We look forward to continuing to work with our clients nationally in this ever-growing and changing sector, particularly as the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety continues, and as findings and recommendations are released later this year and into next.
