Aquarius Aged Care sells shares to Opal

Thomson Geer’s Health & Aged Care team acted for Taverners Group and the other shareholders of Aquarius Aged Care on the sale of their shares to Opal Aged Care for over $50 million. Aquarius Aged Care holds 551 bed licences across 9 residential aged care facilities, predominantly in New South Wales.

Opal Aged Care is jointly owned by AMP Life and Singaporean investor Goh Geok Khim. The announcement of the transaction follows a competitive sales process run by Ansell Strategic.
