For Admin & Business Support Staff

The support functions of our firm play a pivotal role in our continued success, and having talented ambitious people to join our firm in these positions is critical.

Legal Secretaries/Administrative Support

We have a large support team of legal secretaries, administration trainees, and word processors who work across all practice areas of our firm.

Our administrative staff enjoy:

  • Interesting and challenging work, including an active involvement in file work for secretaries
  • Access to paid support for voluntary study
  • Ongoing training, mentoring, and support
  • Inclusion in the firm’s paid parental leave policy
  • Our wellbeing@work programs (including breakfast and healthy food options)
  • Flexible work practices including job share arrangements and flexible start and finish times
  • An active social club

Administration Traineeships

We have a small number of trainees working with us, completing Certificates III and IV Business Administration with the aim of becoming legal secretaries. We provide a supportive environment for our trainees to complete their studies through an external provider, and lots of opportunity for on-the-job experience, including exposure to Operations and Mail Room, Word Processing, and Reception. An Administration Traineeship is a terrific way to gain experience while you’re studying – many of our trainees have gone on to become legal secretaries and work in different areas of the firm.

If you’re interested in becoming an Administration Trainee with us, please get in touch with the People & Development team – hr@tglaw.com.au.
